We had back-to-back nights of soccer in H-Town, and hopefully you got your fix because no games will be played until August 19th! Here is your midweek update to get your morning going with our Breakfast Links.
Houston
Houston Dynamo FC bowed out of the Leagues Cup Monday night after falling to Charlotte FC 2-1 in the Round of 16 at Shell Energy Stadium. The Dynamo resume league play on Sunday, August 20 when they host the Portland Timbers at Shell Energy Stadium. Houston also hosts the semifinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup versus Real Salt Lake on Aug. 23
Houston Dash return to regular season play on Sunday, August 19, hosting the Washington Spirit at Shell Energy Stadium. Houston will be celebrating “Pups at the Pitch” night, presented by Nationwide Insurance. Fans can bring their favorite four-legged friend to the match, and the first 6,000 fans will receive a Dash bandana.
Houston Dynamo 2 travel to Colorado to face Rapids 2 tonight, August 9 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 PM CT.
