The Houston Dash are set for a new chapter as the 2025 season kicks off. We now know what the new season will look like as the NWSL released the full 2025 regular season schedule today.

The full 2025 schedule for the Dash is below, including Theme Nights:

League play will pause in June for a CBA-mandated break for players from June 23-29. The league will not host matches in July to accommodate for confederation tournaments like the Copa America Femenina, Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and UEFA Women’s EURO. NWSL teams will be allowed to schedule friendly matches during this period and additional information about these fixtures will be announced later this year.

With the full schedule now out, what are 5 games to look forward to in 2025? Let’s take a look.

Friday, March 14 vs Washington Spirit

The Dash and new head coach Fabrice Gautrat get things started in the first match of the season against last year’s finalists the Washington Spirit. Trinity Rodman and crew will be a tough test for this new-look Houston side under what is likely a new system and new tactics. A result here could be huge in setting the tone for the rest of 2025.

Saturday, June 7 at Orlando Pride

The first match in June is a visit to Orlando to take on the defending Shield and NWSL champion Pride. Orlando is a team that Houston will be looking to replicate as far as rebuilding and becoming a trophy winning club. They’ll get a first hand look at Marta and the Pride here.

Friday, August 8 vs North Carolina Courage

Gautrat welcomes the team he was an assistant for the last two seasons when the Courage visit Shell Energy Stadium for the first match after the summer break. This could be the jumpstart into a second half of the season.

Sunday, August 17 at Gotham FC

Some are calling Houston “Gotham South” after this offseason’s moves by the Dash. Houston has brought in Delanie Sheehan, Yazmeen Ryan, and Abby Smith from Gotham and they’ll get a chance at their former club in August. It’s also a visit for the Dash with Juan Carlos Amoros, the only coach to make the playoffs for Houston.

Saturday, October 18 vs Kansas City Current

This is the final home match of the season. The Dash close the regular season November 2 in Portland. Will this be a chance for valuable points in a playoff race? Or will it be another thank you to the fans for sticking through a tough season?
