HOUSTON DASH HEAD COACH SAM LAITY

On the result:

"I’m disappointed. My team and the players deserve more from the game. To be honest with you, I think we had better chances. I know we had better chances. You're away from home against a very talented team with a very experienced coach, we came out with somewhat of a unique system that we'd spent, again, an hour on to try and nullify the threat and also be a big threat in transition. It surprised them early. It took them a while to work it out. We were under pressure for a bit. There was maybe one good chance for them. We put the ball across the six. What an incredible save from [Aubrey] Kingsbury. Happy with a point away from home. I thought the performance was good, we weathered the storm. We had the better chances and we’re disappointed that we were not sitting here with three points to be honest with you."

On only having six points so far this season:

"Well, we've had three games on the road. We've gone to Chicago, which is a savage place to play. We've gone to Portland, which is a really tough place to play. We've come here and played against a very well coached team with world class players all over the field. So, you got to be careful what you wish for. I think the Portland result was fair. I think the Chicago result was fair. We're disappointed that we didn't get three points today, with the chances we had, so yeah. Do Ithink we deserve it? You know, we'll be up 12 points. I think we should have gotten three [points] today. Could have gotten the three today. Absolutely. We'll be taking that feeling of disappointment into the game against North Carolina next week."
