Houston Dash at Racing Louisville - Staff picks

The Houston Dash return to play with a road match tonight against Racing Louisville. We asked our staff to give us their picks to see if the Dash can keep their momentum rolling.

Rudy - 1-1 draw
(Record: 5-3)

The Houston Dash finally look to play the style that Fran Alonso implemented this year, especially in the big win before the break. They have a good amount of players that look to be out on the availability report that could hurt the depth of what is fielded tonight, but they should still have a best eleven out there. Louisville is struggling to find success this year as well, therefore a draw seems the most possible result.

Manny - 1-1 draw
(Record: 3-5)

It will sound cliche, but the Dash will struggle after the FIFA international break. After their stellar win against the Courage, the break may have come at the wrong time. Also, some of their players are arriving back quickly for this Friday fixture after playing for their countries and then traveling out to Louisville, so it will be hard for them to get any momentum going. And that doesn't even mention the long list of unavailable players due to injuries.

Dustyn - 2-1 Dash loss
(Record: 5-3)

Houston’s availability report looks frightening but they still have a good core of players available for this fixture. With that being said, there could be some tired legs from the Dash’s internationals in a quick turnaround.

Joey - 2-0 Dash loss
(Record 2-5)

Just look at that availability report…
