The Houston Dash are back at Shell Energy Stadium looking for their first home win of the season. We asked our staff to weigh in how the match up between the Dash and Thorns will go.

Portland is currently in a 5 game win streak and is scoring multiple goals each game. While Jane has helped the team stay in games this year, the lack of goals by the Dash is what worries me tonight. Being that they are at home, a draw against Thorns artillery seems to me the best possible outcome. You just hope that everything Portland touches inside the box does not end up behind the net.

Manny - 3-1 loss

Portland is on a winning streak and the Dash will not be able to stop their momentum.

Dustyn - 2-1 loss
(Record: 4-3)

Portland comes into this match in red-hot form, winning their last five, including one over the Dash. Houston’s defense is much-improved since their first meeting but this Thorns attack is lethal. The first home win of the season will have to wait another week. 

Joey - 2-1 win
(Record 2-4)

Despite Portland being the hottest team in the league, the Dash are also carrying some positive momentum following a stoppage time winner Sunday. You can see the puzzle slowly coming together in recent weeks leading to a shock upset against Portland.
