Welcome to a reboot of our series that highlights you, the fans. Here is a fan that gets as close to the action as possible alongside his sidekicks. Let's get to know Angel.

Name: Angel Garcia

Fan since: 2006

Current Season Ticket Holder: Yes

Where are you originally from and what is your earliest memory of soccer?

I am originally from Monclova, which is located in the state of Coahuila, Mexico. When I was around 5 or 6 years old, I started playing street soccer with the other kids in my neighborhood. As a kid, I never had an opportunity to watch a professional game live at a stadium, but I loved the sport.

Tell us a little about how you became a Houston Dynamo fan?

I became a fan of the Dynamo fan as soon as the announcement was made that they would be our Houston team. I was able to enjoy seeing them win back-to-back MLS Cups. My brother and I would go to watch the team at Robertson Stadium and Brian Ching and Dwayne De Rosario were our favorite players. Once my kids got a little older, I decided to introduce them to the beautiful game. We first became season ticket holders for the Houston Dash. My daughter loved interacting with the players. That helped her fall in love with soccer. She even begged me to put her on a soccer team so that she could play the game herself. We became Houston Dynamo season ticket members shortly after that too.

What is your favorite Houston Dynamo memory and why?

By far, my favorite Houston Dynamo memory has to be when Amine Bassi gave his match worn jersey to my son. He was filled with joy. Now as far as my favorite Houston Dash memory, it was seeing my daughter get some love from the players. Both Maria Sanchez and Ebony Salmon took pictures with my daughter and even handed her signed cleats for her to keep after the team's first ever playoff match.

Where do you sit at Shell Energy Stadium and are you a part of any of the supporters' groups?

We currently are in the Hustle Town section of the stadium as independent supporters. We get to interact with all the supporters' groups and have a great time.

What is your favorite part of game days?

My favorite part of game days is the energy and atmosphere at the stadium. The crowd is loud in Hustle Town. My kids really enjoy it and I love to see them get into it.

Our hope is that you can put a name to a face in the crowd at Shell Energy Stadium. If you’re interested in being spotlighted in our fan series, reach out to us on social media!
