Dynamo 2 announce roster for 2024 season

The 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season gets underway tonight. Houston Dynamo 2 will begin their campaign on Sunday, hosting Sporting Kansas City II at SaberCats Stadium at 5 PM. Tickets are free so get out there and check out the future of HDFC. Yes, free.

Ahead of the season, Dynamo 2 have released their match notes which has given us the first look at their full roster. Below are the players listed for D2 to kick off 2024. Keep in mind, a number of players from the first time, especially young players, like Kieran Sargeant, Ousmane Sylla, and Stephen Annor will likely see time in Kenny Bundy’s lineup. DA denotes a player from the Dynamo Academy. There are 17 Academy players on the roster, including two 14 year olds (Gardner and Dimareli).

Goalkeepers: Nico Hansen, Roman Kerimov (DA), Gianmarco Alvarez (DA)

Defenders: Ify Udanoh, Omar Grey, Obafemi Awodesu, Tate Lampman (DA), Isaac Mwakutuya (DA), Aksell Ekqvist (DA), Adam Abdouh (DA), David Nguema (DA)
