Dynamo sign Moroccan attacker Amine Bassi
The Houston Dynamo have completed the signing of Moroccan attacker Amine Bassi. Bassi has signed through the 2024 season with a club option for 2025 and 2026. Targeted Allocation Money was used to sign Bassi.

Amine is a creative attacking player with the potential to make a significant impact to our team this season,” said Dynamo general manager, Pat Onstad. “His versatility to play different positions makes him a valuable addition to our roster and, at 25-years-old, we are getting a player entering the prime of his career.”
Bassi scored 26 goals and had 17 assists in 129 games for AS Nancy-Lorraine and FC Metz in France. The 25-year-old played for Barnsley in the English Championship last season and made 15 appearances, scoring twice and adding five asssits. Bassi is a product of the SAS Epinal academy in France. He has represented Morocco internationally at the U-20 and U-23 levels.
Bassi is the seventh player to join the Dynamo first-team this offseason.
