Dynamo to host first ever Alumni Weekend

Houston Dynamo FC announced today that 16 former players will help celebrate the club’s first ever Alumni Weekend. Festivities will take place Friday, July 7 and Saturday, July 8.

The former players in attendance will be

• Geoff Cameron

• Mike Chabala

• Brian Ching

• Warren Creavalle

• Brad Davis

• AJ DeLaGarza

• Andrew Driver

• Oscar Boniek Garcia

• Martin Hutton

• Pat Onstad

• Marcus Storey

• Cam Weaver

The players will host a private pregame meet and greet with Dynamo 365 Members in the East Club on Saturday before the match against Sporting Kansas City. The alumni will also meet with fans for photographs and autographs in Hold It Down Plaza on the north side of the stadium beginning at 6 PM. All players will be recognized at halftime of the match.

HDFC will also host a pregame ceremony for Oscar Boniek Garcia. The Honduran, who recently retired, led the Dynamo to three conference finals, one MLS Cup, and the 2018 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup championship. In total, Garcia played 10 seasons for Houston with 13 goals and 39 assists in 235 matches.
