HOUSTON DYNAMO HEAD COACH BEN OLSEN

On the game:

"We had enough chances to get something out of this game. We played really well in the second half and put ourselves in a position to get a goal back. It was a great goal from (Aliyu) Ibrahim, who continues to stay hot. It is tough loss, but the effort was there, and it just wasn't our night."

On the energy in the locker room after the game:

"We’re frustrated and disappointed, but we also understand that we have a big test next weekend. Again, we played well, and there was a particularly good responses in the second half. The subs came in and played well and looked sharp, but we also had an off night."

HOUSTON DYNAMO DEFENDER GRIFFIN DORSEY

On the final minutes of the game:

"It shows the fight that’s in this group, but we don't want to find ourselves in those environments. That's something that all of us collectively need to work on, but we're never going to shy away from a battle."

On players filling in as needed week-to-week:

"It's a testament to the way we train and the way that the group works as a unit through and through. Look at the impact the subs have made throughout this stretch of games to start the season. For example, Brad (Smith) and Tate (Schmitt) tonight. They have given us some big moments, and we train so that everyone is ready to come in and impact the game.”
