HOUSTON DYNAMO HEAD COACH BEN OLSEN
On the result:
“Overall, I don’t think physicality was the issue today. It was not a bad game from us because we created enough chances to score at a tough place to play. But again, the final quality just let us down. As far as energy and commitment, the guys were into it, but in the end, the moments weren’t there. We will turn the page pretty quickly on this one. I’ve asked a lot of these players and our staff, so we are looking forward to a recharge over the next couple of days at the start of the international break. We will get back with two weeks to prepare for Los Angeles and will push to keep getting better.”
HOUSTON DYNAMO GOALKEEPER STEVE CLARK
On takeaways from the match:
“We have a great defensive team, and I’ve been able to make saves, but tonight that wasn’t the case. I don’t think we have any major takeaways from this game. We are tired after a condensed schedule recently, and a lot of those games were on the road, which was difficult. We’ll just move on, get some rest and be ready for Los Angeles.”
