Houston Dynamo vs San Jose Earthquakes - Staff picks

The Houston Dynamo will look for their third straight win in MLS play as they take on the San Jose Earthquakes tonight. We asked our staff to weigh in on if the Dynamo can keep their good form going.

Cristian - 3-0 Dynamo win
(Record: 2-4)

San Jose hasn’t been that great and the Dynamo continue to be true to their style. With the return of Coco Carrasquilla and with Sebastian Ferreira and Aliyu Ibrahim gaining confidence, it should be a great game at home to open the floodgates of goals the Dynamo have been waiting for.

Rudy - 2-1 Dynamo win
(Record: 2-4)

Houston has been playing very well all season and it feels like this matchup will solidify that good form. The Dynamo have yet to score more than 1 goal in a match this season, but that changes tonight. Houston takes the winning streak to 3.

Manny - 2-1 Dynamo win
(Record: 1-5)

The Dynamo are coming into this game with a two-game winning streak and take on a San Jose Earthquakes side who just won their first game of the season. San Jose was on a bad streak of losses before they beat a Seattle team that is still finding a rhythm. While the Dynamo keep getting knocks they still find a way to get a result and they will tonight.

Joey - 3-1 Dynamo win
(Record: 2-4)

The Dynamo have been moving the ball around much better but still yet to have tons of offensive output. Tonight that changes, coming up against a weak San Jose defense at home.

Billy - 1-0 Dynamo win
(Record: 3-3)

Dustyn - 1-0 Dynamo win
(Record: 2-4)

Houston comes into this match in good form and Sebas Ferreira is back and healthy. San Jose’s offense can be potent but the Dynamo defense has played well. I think they put up another clean sheet and the offense finds a goal to win it.

Gribbs - 1-0 Dynamo win
(Record: 1-2)
