Bayou City Soccer Podcast - Thank you, listeners
Houston, welcome to another episode of the Bayou City Soccer Podcast! That is something that our listeners have heard me begin each show since February of this year. What a ride we have had thus far. Don’t you worry, this is not a goodbye by any means, but entirely a thank you.
Here at Bayou City Soccer we are grateful for each person that takes time out of their day each week and listens to us inform, discuss, and maybe even just rant about the professional soccer teams that we follow in Houston and even the ones that visit the Bayou City. Bayou City Soccer is focused on bringing the best soccer coverage in the city and this podcast has given us a voice to do so as well. And we couldn’t do it without your support. Thank you to Houston Dynamo Football Club’s communications team, Edgar, Jack and Angel, that trust us and give us the opportunity to chat with players and coaches for our Orange Talk segments that allow fans to get a small glimpse of who they are. Thank you to supporters group members like Sergio from The Surge and Mannie from El Batallon, who have come on to share their passion and love for the team and their ambition to grow the fan base in what outsiders call a “sleeping giant”. Thanks to every special guest that has joined this year, including Cesar Procel from TUDN Radio who gave us a spot on his show for us to make our own. Thanks to Cristian, Rodrigo, Dustyn, Joey, Manny, that like me, understand the importance of showing up and being consistent producing content for the hungry, Dynamo and Dash fandom.
It's been a year, Houston, and it is not over yet! But for my xG, stat loving, crowd here is the numbers that make up the Bayou City Soccer podcast in the last 10 months per Spotify for Podcasters:
All-time Plays: 6K+
Audience size per last 7 days: 160
We hope that we continue to grow the community and improve the show as we go, but if you haven’t already, make sure to subscribe to the podcast on Apple Podcast, Spotify, and our YouTube Channel. And don’t forget to always Hold It Down and keep it Forever Orange.
