Houston Dash finally stopped the bleeding and got a 1-0 win at home against Racing Louisville, however even with one match left, Sam Laity's team is out of the NWSL Challenge Cup. Houston Dynamo advanced to the round of 32 in Leagues Cup thanks to Orlando defeating Santos Laguna. Now Houston will take on Pachuca, in what will be an emotional game for Hector Herrera and a rekindled rivalry between the clubs.
