NWSL comes to FIFA 23

The popular FIFA franchise of video games is adding the National Women’s Soccer League to the franchise next week. The entire NWSL, including the Houston Dash, will be added to FIFA 23 in the game’s update on March 15. In addition to the NWSL, the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) will also be added to the game. When the game launched in the fall, women’s national teams, the Barclay’s Women’s Super League, and Division 1 Arkema were available.

The Dash, and all the teams in NWSL will be playable, and editable, in multiple game modes in FIFA 23 beginning next Wednesday. NWSL clubs will be playable in Kick-Off, Online Seasons (Head to Head and Co-Op), Online Friendlies, and Tournament modes. If you play with two NWSL clubs in Kick-Off, Online Seasons, and Online Friendlies you will get the authentic broadcast experience.

Unfortunately, the NWSL teams are not available in career mode but in Tournament mode you can play as the Houston Dash and take them through the season to try and win the NWSL Shield and play in the NWSL playoffs to lift the NWSL trophy.

We’ll have more information on the Dash in the game once we are able to see the ratings and which players are on the roster. For now, check out the official trailer from EA Sports announcing the addition of NWSL into the game.
