The Houston Dash lost their opener but will now look for their first points of 2025 in Chicago. We asked our staff for their predictions on today’s match against the Stars.

Rudy - 2-0 Dash win
(Record: 1-1)

The Dash are coming off a strong away win against Chicago. Now, they need to capitalize on that momentum and secure their first home victory. I believe they will do just that against a Gotham FC side struggling to find its form. Fabrice Gautrat’s squad earns their first home win and a clean sheet, keeping the good vibes going.

Dustyn - 1-1 draw
(Record: 1-1)

Another tough test awaits at home for this Dash team. They are beginning to put the pieces together on the field and tonight will be another chance to prove that. Gotham is winless to open the season but are still a strong side. A point here may feel like a disappointment but, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Manny - 3-1 Dash win
(Record: 2-0)

The Dash are gaining momentum! After two strong performances to being the season, they’re looking like a team with a clear plan. Meanwhile, Gotham seems adrift, still trying to find their footing after key injuries and departures. The Dash are full of confidence, and who wouldn’t want to see Yazmeen Ryan and Delanie Sheehan light it up against their former team?

Joey - 2-1 Dash win

The Dash are coming off of a good start to the season while Gotham have not had the best performances in either of their first two matches. The Dash have a huge opportunity to get some momentum at home in a very winnable game and I think they do just that.

Diego - 2-1 Dash win
(Record: 1-0)

This might be the Yazmeen Ryan revenge game, and I’m here for it. I would love to see Fabrice Gautrat’s defensive concerns get solved eventually, however I see this Gotham squad pulling a goal back in this match. It’s always a good sign when your squad is winning and competing against top teams when your offense hasn’t hit their stride yet.
