HOUSTON DYNAMO HEAD COACH BEN OLSEN
On the team’s confidence:
“Belief goes a long way, last week was a big step for this. This group and this staff, to get a win under our belt gave us of the confidence that we can continue getting results here. Crucial moments like that last 10 or 15 minutes where we don't fold. It’s a mentality and mentality is backed up with belief. You have to get those wins to get the belief. It's kind of a catch 22. So that win helped out today and hopefully we can continue picking up results and still have that mindset. We go onto the road now. That will be a different kind of challenge, maybe a different mindset going into San Jose. We will enjoy this. Two in a row at home. I'm happy for the fans. It's nice to see them off their feet, enjoying it, and it's a big part of this. We're still the entertainment business and we're going to entertain these people. I'd love to see more people coming to this I'd love to see another five or six grand in this building really make it even harder for other teams.”
HOUSTON DYNAMO MIDFIELDER ARTUR
On Brooklyn Raines making his first start in MLS:
“I'm very happy for him. Brooklyn is a kid that works hard every day and he's always pushing and trying to get better. He has potential. Me and some other guys in the group will try to help him the best way possible and giving him confidence. I think he did very well. I'm excited to see him keep improving and maybe get more minutes.”
HOUSTON DYNAMO FORWARD AMINE BASSI
On scoring two goals in two games:
"It feels good, but for me the most important thing is the team. It feels good to play well with the team. That is good enough for me. My goal is to work for the team."
DYNAMO DEFENDER TEENAGE HADEBE
On enjoying his time in Houston:
“If we keep on winning, they will see a different Teenage (Hadebe). I'm that guy that was always happy. Even if you ask my teammates, I'm always the guy who makes jokes, I just love to make everyone laugh, that's how I am. If we keep on winning, I'll be grateful to the fans. I want to dance with the fans, to show that we appreciate their support.”
DYNAMO GOALKEEPER STEVE CLARK
On the game plan:
“It's a real team effort starting with those strikers and the wingers, all the way back the backline was just a very, very good team defensive performance. We're super happy with the way we're training officially.”
