Enemy Scouting Report - Charlotte FC
The Houston Dynamo got a massive win over D.C. United last week with Sebastian Ferreira leading the charge. Ferreira could be on his way out this summer but will see a fair share of minutes before Ezequiel Ponce is available. The Dynamo look very different when a true number 9 is on the field, as the ball control and tempo can find its way to a deadly man in front of goal.
Charlotte will visit Shell Energy Stadium tonight in what will be a blistering hot day in Houston. Charlotte is in good form, having just beat Philadelphia at home. Patrick Agyemang scored a brace that was enough for the Union to not come back from. This Charlotte FC is a very different team from the one that the Dynamo played against last year in Leagues Cup. The history between the clubs is only of 2 games, in which Charlotte has claimed victory in both of them.
Currently, there isn’t a player that would be considered a super star for Charlotte. The team is playing well together and that is what is helping them excel. They will be tough to break apart.
