HOUSTON DYNAMO HEAD COACH BEN OLSEN

On how New England’s formation affected the game:

Well [Dylan Borrero] was a handful all night. Borrero, he's a big pickup, I think, for the team. He really offsets you and his isolation in 1-v-1 situations, you have to take those serious and bring another guy to deal with him and I thought he was a big piece for them tonight. You know, I felt the first half was fine. I thought we were actually in good form and got into the final third enough, transition stuff still is not clean enough for us. And we did so much sort of winning the ball and connecting it and putting them in advanced spots in transition, but we just don't reward ourselves and then to give up the one late in the first half hurt us. They're a tough team to chase.”

HOUSTON DYNAMO DEFENDER GRIFFIN DORSEY

On his assessment of the game:

“At this point we're just going to look at everything. We're going to try to dissect everything and find areas that we can continue to improve because there are plenty of them.”

HOUSTON DYNAMO FORWARD IVAN FRANCO

On the game (translated from Spanish):

“We were lacking that final touch. We had a few chances that we could’ve connected a bit more and helped us play better. We need to keep working hard and making sure we stop giving up goals.”
